Toyota Innova Van

The Toyota Innova is a Toyota-designed Compact MPV i.e. being less than 4,600 mm (181.1 in) in length as per the European system of size classification, produced in Indonesia under supervision by Toyota Astra Motor since 2003. As with Toyota Kijang, which it replaced, the Toyota Innova is produced and first marketed in 2004 in Indonesia. Toyota Innova is part of Toyota's IMV program together with the Hilux Vigo pickup truckand the Fortuner SUV. Its official name in Indonesia is Toyota Kijang Innova, while for other countries it is simply Innova.
Powering the Innova is either a gasoline 2.0 liter 136 PS (100 kW) 1TR-FE VVT-i, a 2.7 liter (2TR-FE) version of the same, or a 2.5 liter 102 PS (75 kW) 2KD-FTV D4-D common rail variable geometry turbocharger diesel engine. Trim levels are J, E, G, and V. The 2.7 liter is only for the V, with automatic transmission. The Innova features a live rear axle and it is of front engined, rear wheel drive configuration. The newly added V variant adds ABS, leather seats and captain chairs.
The Innova is also sold in India (replacing Toyota Qualis), Malaysia (replacing ToyotaUnser), the Philippines (replacing Toyota Revo), Taiwan (replacing outdated Toyota Zace surf), Vietnam (replacing outdated Toyota Zace) and Thailand. Unlike some of the Innova's competition, such as the TATA Sumo GrandeChevrolet Tavera or the Mahindra Xylo, but like the newly launched Tata Aria, the Innova looks more like a minivan — in fact, its styling can be said to be similar to Toyota's other MPV offerings, namely the USDMToyota Sienna and the Toyota Previa. The Toyota Innova is also available in BruneiSaudi Arabia, and the UAE.

2011 Honda Odyssey

The 2011 Honda Odyssey is the best new minivan on the market. Minivans are basically used to haul the family, and buyers of this van will love the standard video system with surround sound, great for keeping the kids occupied while the driver concentrates on the road.
This vehicle is astonishingly comfortable, and will hold eight passengers in complete comfort. Even the third row seats provide enough room for a full grown adult. No more squeezing into a tight little spot and calling it a seat.
The 2011 Honda Odyssey offers outstanding storage in the cargo area. It is also full of many tiny cubbyholes that are perfect for storing things within easy reach. The 2011 Honda Odyssey even comes with its own wastebasket, making the van easy to keep clean.
The controls for this vehicle are logically grouped so they can easily be reached when busy driving down the road. After all, the 2011 Honda Odyssey just begs to be taken on a road trip. The third row seats easily fold down for extra storage, or carrying that luggage for the family vacation time.
The 2011 Honda Odyssey features a rear anti-roll bar for the first time. It also features upgraded springs and dampers. Along with the new tires, the 2011 Honda Odyssey is the best minivan available on the market.

Saturn Relay

The Saturn Relay was one of General Motors' minivans supposedly styled to have the look of a rough-and-tumble SUV rather than a plain-Jane family shuttle. Marketed as a "crossover sport van," the Relay had a longish nose, more aggressive styling and a roof rack to lend an SUV persona. However, the basic body structure and sliding doors remained true to the minivan segment's guiding principles.
The Saturn Relay was certainly family-friendly, with a folding third-row seat and optional 40GB digital media system that could store and play thousands of MP3 music files or a few dozen movies. Missing in action, though, were popular safety features like three-row side curtain airbags and a back-up camera.
Consumers never warmed to the Relay, however, and after just a few years on the market, Saturn pulled the van in favor of its new large crossover, the Outlook. As a choice for a used minivan, the Relay provides solid family transportation to be sure, and if price is a major issue, it will typically cost less than comparably equipped class leaders. However, more demanding shoppers who don't mind spending the extra cash will likely be happier with one of several other popular rivals.
