Mitsubishi i MiEV SPORT AIR Reviews,Specs,Features and Pics

Mitsubishi i MiEV SPORT AIR concept has been unveiled in Geneva Motor Show after its previous announcement that was announced at the end of last year. Powered by a 60 kWelectric motor, Mitsubishi i MiEV SPORT AIR may develops 230 Nm of torque and reach its top speed at 200 km/h.
Mitsubishi i MiEV SPORT AIR comes equipped with the semi-transparent lightweight composite roof panel that can be removed without compromising the structural integrity of the coupe.
Mitsubishi i MiEV SPORT AIR offers an excellent occupant protection with featuring an aluminum space frame in combination with the RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) body from the company.
Mitsubishi i MiEV SPORT AIR - Tech look
A joint effort between Mitsubishi Motors design studios in Okazaki (exterior), Okazaki and Cypress, California (interior) as well as Tokyo (execution), the zero CO2 emission i MiEV SPORT AIR concept is a relative to the acclaimed and equally zero CO2 emission 2007 i MiEV Sport show car.
Longer (+ 20 cm) and taller (+ 12 cm), it trades the cheeky look of its predecessor for a more technical approach of its teardrop shape: from the clamshell effect of its deep(er) windshield + diminutive bonnet to the shaper shape of its front end – complete with an inverted Jet Fighter “grille”, or the flush glazing over the B-pillar.
Details, such as the (more) robust looking three-spoke alloy wheels, the squared-off mirrors, the LED front lighting and side repeaters contribute to that look.
Appropriately for an EV, a semi-transparent embedded solar panel is used on the bonnet and “clear cutaway” roof panel, while the “printed circuit board” motif continues inside, highlighting points inside the cabin.
Mitsubishi i MiEV SPORT AIR - Air
Whilst several variants of i MiEV Sport have been sketched internally (all the way to a wacky mini pickup !…), the 2009 i MiEV SPORT AIR concept is a more tangible proposition with its removable clear roof panel over its polyamide and polyphenylene ether body panels.
Made of semi-transparent lightweight composite, the “clear cutaway” roof panel allows open air driving whilst retaining the structural integrity of the coupĂ©.
Mitsubishi i MiEV SPORT AIR - Sky blue
i MiEV SPORT AIR’s color & trim follows a “Japanese Technology” theme, combining the approachable image and the high-tech spirit of environmentally-friendly devices:
The blue exterior color evokes the openness of clear blue skies, while the use of a pearl finish effect gives a bluish sheen to the body highlights the car’s eco-friendly image.
Inside, the mesh “ventilaio” trim uses a high-contrast color scheme of greyish blue and “grege” (an intermediate color between grey and beige). With the use of blue illumination for the instruments and interior lighting this two-tone scheme imparts an advanced and high-tech look to the cabin while at the same time producing a relaxing and reassuring atmosphere. Mitsubishi’s proprietary Green Plastics are used for the carpeting, the seat back panels and side covers
Indeed, i MiEV SPORT AIR offers a welcoming ambience to create a comfortable and restful space. The wrap-around cockpit design, on the other hand, is styled to alert the driver to the high performance potential of the car the moment he sits behind the wheel.
The major controls and switches are all ergonomically grouped around the shift dial - with additional controls subsumed into a single touch-panel display - making for more positive location and operation by the driver.
Mitsubishi i MiEV SPORT AIR - Cab forward
A sports car of a new kind, i MiEV SPORT AIR also presents an unusual and very aerodynamic teardrop-shaped profile and cab forward proportions making the best use of its 255 mm wheelbase over an overall diminutive length of 365 mm.
Just as for the forthcoming production i MiEV, this generous wheelbase put the 175/50 R 17 wheels at each corner for the sake of driving dynamics and - in conjunction of the rear-midship layout - an optimum use of the available interior space for 4 passengers (2+2 seating).
It also provides an ideal location for the lithium-ion battery pack: located under the floor, the 200 kg pack allows for a very low center of gravity, for stability and balance but also for passive safety.
The powertrain components - including the motor and inverter - are arranged beneath the luggage compartment. As such - together with the aluminum rear suspension – they contribute to a good weight distribution (50% front – 50% rear).
Mitsubishi i MiEV SPORT AIR - Space frame
An aluminum space frame - a combination of aluminum extrusions and aluminum die casting - is light, rigid and strong, helping to improving performance by minimizing weight (940 kg).
The optimum layout of structural members, including front-side and cross members, efficiently absorbs crash energy in the event of front-end or side collision.
In a collision from the rear, the EV components located under the back seat and rear floor serve as a barrier to ensure the integrity of the passenger compartment.
By making use of i MiEV’s rear-midship layout and utilizing Mitsubishi’s latest RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) body, i MiEV SPORT AIR realizes excellent occupant protection in collisions from any direction, even when colliding with a vehicle of different height or weight.
Mitsubishi i MiEV SPORT AIR - Pocket rocket
Pointing to the direction a realistic Mitsubishi sports EV may take in the future, i MiEV SPORT AIR turns EV characteristics into (baby) sports car assets, all with the eerie silence, fluency and stress-free driving of electric cars.
In particular, it uses a more powerful version of i MiEV’s permanent magnet synchronouselectric motor for even faster standing and passing accelerations – an EV trademark - than the standard i MiEV with 60 kW (82 ps) and 230 Nm:
i MiEV i MiEV SPORT AIR i MiEV Sport
Power 47 kW 60 kW Front: 20kW x 2 / Rear: 47kW
Torque 180 Nm 230 Nm Front: 250 Nm x 2 / Rear: 180 Nm
Max. speed (Where legal) 130 km/h (Governed) 200 km/h 180 km/h
Range(Japanese cycle) 160 km 200 km 200 km
Last but not least, i MiEV SPORT AIR offers another more down-to-earth approach to powertrain with a single motor powering the rear wheels, exactly as the forthcoming production i MiEV and as opposed to the more conceptual solutions forecasted with the 2007 i MiEV Sport (2 in-wheel motor at the front + 1 single motor at the rear + E-4WD + E-AYC + S-AWC).

2012 Suzuki alto Review,Price,Features and Pictures

2012 Suzuki Alto only weakness is the absence of a D-segment sedan that can compete with the likes of the Honda CivicToyota, Skoda Octavia Corrola and Volkswagen Jetta. In 2010, the Maruti Suzuki was going to change this, you need to enter the section d to the production version of the Kizashi concept unveiled at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show and show our Auto Expo 2008. The Kizashi will start with a value of around Rs 10 lakh and include many innovative features such as the system of the first Suzuki unit with four wheels. It is likely to be powered by a diesel turbo 2 litres fluid extinguisher and shall have a six-speed transmission and a large 21-inch alloys.
The 2012 Suzuki Alto Concept is a fierce machine research of a grille brilliant big black, who appears as his words to eat what is in front of it. LED Cup front bumper as a sword. The back is as a truck with a fifth died. Kizashi Suzuki metal high philosophy of more recent design of glass surface tow glass is very compact. The production version of the Kizashi should deploy new installations of Maruti Manesar in Haryana.
According to industry engineers have already started working on a version of the production Kizashi Kirti. I really like so-Suzuki itself have a strong appeal to the developed and developing markets for innovative products for the Progressive Automotive manufacturer offers as.. New Swift looks to be a big change started in the process, and Suzuki would be very good in the future.
The local unit, Suzuki Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, will invest 2 to 4,000, 000, 000 yen (21 to 43 million dollars) this year to upgrade the existing two plants, improving the capacity of 1.2 million units of 1 million today, the Nikkei business daily, citing the company’s President Shinzo Nakanishi. Pontiac Firebird Review and HD Wallpapers

Pontiac Firebird Wallpaper
The Pontiac Firebird was a sporty compact car built by the Pontiac Motor Division of General Motors and was manufactured from 1967 until 2002. Available in both coupé and convertible body styles, the Firebird was characterized by its aggressive styling and affordable muscle car performance. The car shared the same General Motors "F-Body" platform as the Chevrolet Camaro, also introduced in 1967. Production of both cars ceased in 2002.

The Firebird was introduced in the same year as the Mercury Cougar, which also shared a platform with another well-known pony car, the Ford Mustang.
The vehicles were, for the most part, powered by various V8 motors of different GM divisions. While primarily Pontiac-powered until 1981, Firebirds were built with several different engines from nearly every GM division.
Fourth generation (1993–2002)
Pontiac Firebird Wallpaper
The fourth generation Firebird continued the previous generation's aerodynamic formula, but while a desirable sports car, it was victim to falling sales. In 1993-1995 (1995 non-California cars) Firebirds received a 3.4 L V6 with 160 hp, or a 5.7 L 275 hp LT1 V8. The LT1 was very similar to the one in the Corvette C4, only with 2 bolt mains, and a more restrictive intake/exhaust system. 1996 and later models had a 200 hp 3.8 L V6 as the base engine. The LT1's hp rating had been raised to 285 thanks to a new dual cat exhaust system.

As before, the Camaro kept the exposed headlights and the Firebird its pop-up units, with some minor changes. In 1998, the Firebird received a new front fascia (now with four pop-up headlights; the Camaro's front end was also switched, to two oval headlamps) and other modifications, the most significant of which was the Corvette small block V8 engine known as the LS1. These 1998 to 2002 models are sometimes referred to as "fifth generation" Firebirds. The final model year, 2002, offered a distinctive 35th anniversary edition that paid homage to the 1969 Trans Am. Like the Chevrolet Camaro, the Firebird and Trans Am were built in Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec. The plant closed down after producing the last cars.

The LS1 Firebirds, despite their poor sales, were among the fastest ever produced. They featured an all aluminum 5.7L V8 designated the LS1, with 305 hp (310 after 2000), or 320 hp (325 after 2000) for the Ram Air version. The rare Firehawk model made by SLP and sold through Pontiac dealerships had 330 hp (345 after 2000). Even the V6 had a bump to 205 hp.

The average ¼ mile times for these were 15.2 @ 90 mph for the V6 and 13.4 @ 106 mph for the V8. The V6 models were as quick as almost any V8 produced before 1990, while the V8 Firebirds were faster than almost anything produced in the muscle car era (including all Firebirds). Top Speeds for both the V6 and the V8 versions were governed according to their factory tire ratings.
Pontiac Firebird Wallpaper
Typically, these limits were 105, 112, 118 mph for the V6 models, but these limits varied from car to car. V8 models that had Z rated tires had a speed limiter set to 162 mph. Models that came with GS-C or RS-A tires were limited to 123 mph.

Saturn Relay

The Saturn Relay was one of General Motors' minivans supposedly styled to have the look of a rough-and-tumble SUV rather than a plain-Jane family shuttle. Marketed as a "crossover sport van," the Relay had a longish nose, more aggressive styling and a roof rack to lend an SUV persona. However, the basic body structure and sliding doors remained true to the minivan segment's guiding principles.
The Saturn Relay was certainly family-friendly, with a folding third-row seat and optional 40GB digital media system that could store and play thousands of MP3 music files or a few dozen movies. Missing in action, though, were popular safety features like three-row side curtain airbags and a back-up camera.
Consumers never warmed to the Relay, however, and after just a few years on the market, Saturn pulled the van in favor of its new large crossover, the Outlook. As a choice for a used minivan, the Relay provides solid family transportation to be sure, and if price is a major issue, it will typically cost less than comparably equipped class leaders. However, more demanding shoppers who don't mind spending the extra cash will likely be happier with one of several other popular rivals.
