It can reach 125 mph top and get to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds.
It is due for sale in 2011, and is estimated to retail for $100,000 US.
All common safety features of modern cars are fitted, along with regenerative braking which recovers electric power for the batteries while slowing down or stopping.
Even if this car was an internal combustion engine, it would be a showstopper, but the cachet of electric places it in another realm...
