Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile), the No. 1 mobile phone provider in the U.S., today announced the results of the company’s T-Mobile® Sidekick® 4G by Samsung “Kick it with the Band” – a competition designed to highlight some of the country’s best undiscovered musical talent on the verge of stardom. Based on the excitement and success of the program, Samsung Mobile made all nine participating groups and artists winners by awarding them marketing budgets coinciding with their rank to help push their music careers to new heights. It's an activity to broaden Sidekick brand.
The Sidekick 4G is aimed at the younger set, and the fun, colorful design definitely reflects that.It has a white battery cover with black around the edges of the display and keyboard. A surprise pop of magenta behind the display, exposed only when you slide out the keyboard, gives the phone a playful look. The more serious-looking version is all black with a gray panel behind the display.
The 3.5-inch, WVGA, 800-by-480-pixel display was pretty responsive and showcased the user interface nicely. It isn’t the most high-res display, but video and pictures looked sharp and animations moved smoothly.
This is really a smartphone with strong entertainment functions. Have you ever thought that how I can view office documents on Sidekick 4G, maybe put powerpoint on it? Just convert powerpoint to video with original sounds, videos and animations with PowerPoint to Video Converter.
